Approved Riding Areas

Find the right area to ride you ATV. Many areas are not safe or may be restricted for use by ATV's and other motorized vehicles.

Never Ride on Public Roads
  • ATVs and public roads just don't mix. A collision can occur with another vehicle quickly. Don't take the chance of riding on a public road.
  • ATV's are designed for off-road use. Operating an ATV on a paved surface will affect the handling and increase your risk of losing control.
Ride on Designated Trails and at a Safe Speed
  • Never ride your ATV in an area not approved for ATV use. Riding in unapproved areas may lead to closure of approved areas.
  • Obstacles are a part of every off-road trail and are unpredictable. Go slow and learn the trail.

Ride in Control
  • Never ride your ATV under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Single operator ATV's are designed for one operator only. A passenger can affect steering, balance and increase the risk of losing control.
  • Learn to ride your ATV at speeds that match your skill level and the environment.

Fun Kart Safety

Fun-karts are motorized vehicles with 4 wheels, excluding vehicles where the operator and passenger, if any, sit astride, and are sold commercially as consumer goods and intended for private, personal, recreational use by consumers for off-road use. Fun Karts are limited to speeds over 12mph but not in excess of 40mph. For more information, refer to your Fun-Kart Safety Manual or call/contact Coleman Powersports directly.

Fun-Karts can be hazardous to operate. Failure to understand and follow warnings and instructions for the safe use and maintenance of these products may result in death or injury! For your safety: Always wear an approved helmet, eye protection, protective clothing and seat belts. Avoid excessive speeds and be particularly careful on difficult terrain. Avoid stationary objects and obstacles that create the potential for collision. Never carry more passengers than the Fun-Kart is designed to safely seat. Never engage in stunt riding, jumping, or operate the vehicles under the influence of drugs or alcohol. For off road use only. Models designated as ‘Youth’ should only be ridden during daylight hours under adult supervision. Check your state and local laws for legal operation. Read owner's manual before operating vehicle.

Coleman Powersports Fun-Karts operate within the scope of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the American Fun Kart Association safety guidelines. We implement standard industry safety measures and additions on our Fun-karts including:

  • 3-Point lap / shoulder seat belt restraint system
  • Overhead Brush Bars
  • Shoulder Bolts Shoulder bolts on throttle and brake pedals cannot be over-tightened.
